Danielle Martin is a Montreal based fashion designer. Besides winning prestigious national and international awards, she gained valuable experience while working with the internationally renowned designers Christian Lacroix and Roland Mouret.
Danielle Martin graduated from the Central St Martins’ MA Fashion, in London. She and her partner Pao Lim launched MARTIN LIM’s label. While teaching at École supérieure de mode ESG/UQAM, her work is about exploring the moving delicate drape of the bold shape.
3D Printing is a pretext she explores since 2014, collaborating at the time with May-Li Khoe and Ben Cramer, to create a first 3D printed Tutu.
Danielle Martin is completing a PhD in Études et pratiques des arts at UQAM. Her research topics are based on art, technology of 3D printing, design & fashion.
